In cadrul browserului Firefox regasim mai multe easter-eggs. Printre acestea si about:Mozilla.

Deschideti browserul, in cadrul unui tab nou scrieti adresa: about: Mozilla.

Si surprizaaa… este afisat urmatorul text:

Toolbarul Google are, pe langa functia de cautare si alte functii, precum functia de calculator, de convertor sau de definire a termenilor.

Astfel, daca scrieti, spre exemplu, in cadrul Google si al Google Toolbar, 1024*3490, dedesubt se va afisa rezultatul.

In mod asemanator pentru definitii (ex: define: web), pentru convertor (ex: 5 ron in euro) sau pentru meteo (ex: weather Bucuresti).

O lista a acestor functii regasiti pe siteul Google.

In unele situatii Notepad pare sa nu fie de acord cu ceea ce scriem.

Spre exemplu, deschideti un nou fisier Notepad si scrieti: Luni iti voi scrie

Salvati, inchideti fisierul si… deschideti din nou.

Fiecare versiune de Microsoft Word aparuta din 97 si pana in 2003 contine ceea ce pare a fi un feature destul de bizar. Daca scrii =rand () intr-un document Word si tastezi apoi Enter vor aparea 3 paragrafe in care se repeta de 5 ori propozitia „The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”. Daca scrii =rand(X,Y) (cu numere in loc de X si Y) vor aparea X paragrafe cu Y repetari ale propozitiei respective.

De exemplu, =rand(10,10) va produce 10 paragrafe cu 10 repetitii. Microsoft a descris ulterior aceasta „functie”ca pe un feature introdus ca utilitar si nu un easter egg.

In Microsoft Word 2007, propozitia care se repeta a fost inlocuita cu un text mai lung, un adevarat trick in sine care spune asa:

“On the Insert tab, the galleries include items that are designed to coordinate with the overall look of your document. You can use these galleries to insert tables, headers, footers, lists, cover pages, and other document building blocks. When you create pictures, charts, or diagrams, they also coordinate with your current document look. You can easily change the formatting of selected text in the document text by choosing a look for the selected text from the Quick Styles gallery on the Home tab. You can also format text directly by using the other controls on the Home tab. Most controls offer a choice of using the look from the current theme or using a format that you specify directly. To change the overall look of your document, choose new Theme elements on the Page Layout tab. To change the looks available in the Quick Style gallery, use the Change Current Quick Style Set command. Both the Themes gallery and the Quick Styles gallery provide reset commands so that you can always restore the look of your document to the original contained in your current template.”

Deschide Notepad-ul, scrie .LOG, salveaza cu titlul Configureaza.ro.txt si inchide fisierul.
Cand il redeschizi… ce sa vezi, a mai aparut ceva.
